$5 Billion Dollars!

It took $5 billion dollars to clean up the environmental disaster that occurred from the 2013 discharges from Lake Okeechobee Florida.

Hemp4Water® formed with the mission of educating the public about the algae blooms, findings solutions, and implementing them.

We incorporated as a Florida Non-Profit and received our IRS 501(c)3 designation in 2019

In 2020 we partnered with South Florida State College to enter into Florida’s Hemp Pilot Program where we have been doing research to support the hypothesis that Hemp is the most efficient and cost effective bio remediator. With consistent application, research yielding R99 values repeatedly supporting our hypothesis, our team has developed methodology for measuring live plant nutrient uptake and identified techniques and genetics that enhance our system.

We have done the research and are ready to apply the solution. We are seeking collaborations with public and private partners to move the next step which would be cleaning a minimum of a 1 acre pond and we are willing to go as big as you are. Our ultimate goal is to bring Lake Okeechobee back to a sandy bottom and world class fishery.
